I have been listening to this playlist every day now for over a week and inevitably I find myself either carried away in worship or breaking down and weeping in His arms. Today I was struck. God placed these songs in this order for a reason...and yet how can that be even for real? There are billions of people on our planet so He must not have given this, it must be mans idea of healing, a story of one persons journey which just happens to be similar to mine....then God spoke to my heart and essentially shared this: He really did make us as unique creations with special quirks and cracks that are ours and ours alone....but the core of our spirit? The shattering which brings us to Him broken? Those wounds are all made the same way, probably in the same order....it just looks different because of our own unique kaleidoscope of quirks and cracks! (You know that Satan cannot create, his bag of tricks and lies are finite not INfinite. The lie from hell is to keep it quiet. The tool is the spirit of shame, our reaction - to hide. Oh God, a great harvest is at our doorstep and you are calling your peculiar people to rise up with transparency and crush the lie that you only desire well-pressed, politically correct people who are masters at soothing niceties which do nothing more than set up the lie to keep secret our brokenness...heaven forbid the cloud of witnesses see our real thoughts and our real struggles.....dont you sometimes sense a bit of glee in the accusations which we levy at each other? That is nothing more than inner recognition that we are not going at this alone. Now all we have to do is find the voice to admit this and stand together, ENcouraging each other to press in and press on.
