I have been looking for my purse since yesterday. Upstairs, downstairs, my room, the kids rooms, the dining room where it usually hangs on the back of a chair, my car, my friends house... Just as I start thinking, Oh crap. Maybe I left it in the car and it was unlocked and somebody stole it! Anxiety, about the cash in it, the credit and bank cards and the big check I needed to deposit, started to emerge. As I stare at my desk about to rummage through files to find phone numbers, I realize that it is my purse that I am moving out of the way to get my paperwork. Seriously. I have to keep a sense of humor or I would go nuts. Perhaps I already am. ;-)
