I have been made aware of a very young woman, 28yrs old, who has just been diagnosed with an aggressive form of Breast Cancer. I wondered if anyone would like to contribute something for a Care package . Anything that is funny-books, movies....anything pretty to wear...scarves and cute little hats are always good! Natural lotions for dry skin...going through Chemo can raise havoc with your skin. (I do not know if she will be going thru radiation), little trinkets or good luck charms....Inspirational things...gift baskets....things like the fabric covered heat/cool pillows. A dammit doll!!! Very useful! Organic , herbal teas, a book on healthy eating....or anything that would be helpful for when she is ready to get back on her feet...speaking of feet...she is single and supports herself and will continue to work....a job where she will be on her feet. Maybe a really cute , fuzzy pair of slippers.......pretty jewelry ...anything with an inspirational message would be fantastic...book marks with inspiration or just cute pictures. A cd of Gregorian Chanting. Simple to follow book on meditation.....Let me know if you would like to put something in the care package and I will arrange to get together with you! I went through what she is about to.....a care package would have really made my day, made me smile....
