I have been nominated by Eileen Peers for the 5-day Happy Dog photo challenge. I dont have any scanned pictures of my BBH (before bloodhounds) dogs, so well start at the beginning of Bloodhounds. Our first BH was our Miz Biskit, a 7-year-old girlie we acquired in 2002 from her two-legged who had developed ALS and was unable to keep her active. When we first heard about an available bloodhound and since it was going to be our first, I told Tim, I dont want an old one and I dont want a girl. We got to her yard, she had her back to us, and looked over her shoulder. She looked just like a sea lion basking in the sun. She was old, a girl, and fat to boot! But Miz Biskit changed my mind forever. I will forever hold this sweet girl close in my heart. She was the best nanny dog on the planet and raised us up two wonderful boys, Chile and Crikey. We took her with us to Susan Hamils when we went to pick up Chile as a pup. She got out of the vehicle, looked around, made a beeline for Susans large and beautiful decorative fountain, and promptly got in and went wading. Looking back over the past 12 years, I realize what a perfect introduction to this breed she was for us. This is Miz Biskit, aka Aunt B, with baby Chile, April 2003.
