I have been nominated for the ice bucket challenge which with the temperatures we have in Turkey right now is not really a challenge - to keep ice long enough is more of an issue. It will be 29 years tomorrow that my Gran, loved & adored by everyone close to her, died of MND also known as ALS. I am struggling to find the right words to write to describe this disease - it is horrendous and maybe that is all I need to say. On the upside I know that we all (Grans family) made her life as enjoyable as possible & I do remember lots of fun & laughter (even though that was also scary) I have loads of great memories, I will always miss her & hope that no-one else has to suffer from this disease. So whilst I do hope that you have fun with the buckets of ice please do make sure that you donate to the charity that is close to you.
