I have been not been posting much lately to some major changes in my life. The past two weeks I have been either checking houses online, touring said houses that meet Stacey Kaszaks approval, or driving between Missouri and Texas. So, in no particular order, are some random thoughts: Tolls are $4 each between Joplin and Tulsa and between Tulsa and OK City. Make sure you have quarters if you exit the tollway for those emergency Dr. Pepper stops. I didnt almost get killed in Norman, OK this week. That is a first---the last few times I have driven I-35 the OU Sooner fans seem to get crazy on the highway and I have seen major incidents several times there. Oklahoma must have GIANT casinos at the major entrances to the state. I can verify that the southern points on I-35 and US 69 and the eastern point at I-44 all contain major casinos. (Just in passing, you understand.) The housing market in Lewisville/Flower Mound is red hot. Take whatever you THINK you are going to spend and double it. When it comes to houses, pool beats no pool. And so, here I am on Saturday morning, waiting for the acceptance on my latest offer. And yes, there is a pool involved.
