I have been numb and devastated since hearing the news of his passing on Saturday (and, dealing with Tommy’s birthday, I honestly could not string a sentence together). When someone passes, the “good guy” platitudes flow like cheap beer, regardless of honesty. In Brian’s case, the many, many fond memories did not scratch the surface of how truly a gentle giant he was, and his loss will be felt for years amongst his friends and co-workers. I can’t even fathom how his family, which he could never show enough pictures of, is dealing with this. I have never pushed a gofundme, because from what I’ve seen, it usually involves frivolous plastic surgery or the desire of a 45 year old diva thinking he should take a year off from work. In this case, a widow and her three young girls have to pay for a funeral, and, attempt to move forward . I know many of you probably never knew Brian, but, please give as you are able.
