I have been on the phone with KSP, other sheriff offices and the JCSO staff. This flash flooding will continue through the night. In the morning some may want to leave their homes to see what kind of damage has been done. I am asking you to stay off the roads tomorrow and give road crews, home owners and others a chance to assess the damage done to the roads and property. From what I have been told most low lying areas, areas around creeks, culvert roads and some low bridges are all in flooded areas. Much of our county has been affected either by flooding or slides.
