I have been one who says she will take her child to school when - TopicsExpress

I have been one who says she will take her child to school when they turn 3 years, so I started my hunt for a school and since some schools are booked when you conceive, I was ready to walk and be listed for number 120 out of 40 kind of booking. I have a friend, former colleague who teaches at Kiota School Kindergarten, I always told myself that if I had the chance, I would hire her to home school my children, she is amazing with kids. So I called her up and decided to check out the school where she teaches, and I am officially sold out. I am even thinking of doing play group 3 times a week when the lil man turns 2 years. The school is where Msingi Bora used to be, near opposite St. Georges Primary school. My son walked in and blended so perfectly with the other kids, he was at home, the place is designed to help the baby learn in all ways. The reception is so welcoming. What captured my heart was the little babys class room, they have a little toilet where they potty train the kids, (yeah, that is one lesson I dread). They have a field for the kids to play and they have gates. Now gates seem like a small thing, but my son is a runner, he will run away at any chance, so gates are a consolation for me. The cost is not over the top, in fact, it is the same cost as the other schools I have checked out. What school have you checked out, any recommendations? So far this is my best. And no it is not one of those, you are a blogger mum please review our school, I just loved it and thought I should share with you mums. To my former colleague and friend @Manga Mlamba, you have made the school that much more desirable for me, thank you for being true to your passion #KenyanMums
