I have been playing with an XO tablet for the past week. Interesting. It is a 7 tablet, I think that size stinks for everything I want to use a tablet to do. I love that some applications run better on Android! For instance, I can click on links in Facebook posts and the app doesnt crash. I can also scroll back several hours of posts without a crash. It is more stable than iOS. Period. That is a big plus. I havent found the apps I like for Android. The depth of apps just isnt there, everything is geared for phones, not tablets. Many just give up with the 7 display. Granted, I am running an older version of Android. I need a replacement for my iPad, it is failing and is EOLd by Apple. I run Linux and have a G4 Mac, living in the Apple ecosystem is a pita! That leaves strong negatives for any choice. I guess I will wait and see what the Nexus 10 2 is like, and see about the new iPad 5. The form of the new iPad is smaller than I would like. Looks like I will have adjustments coming soon. I am not happy about that.
