I have been proud of Grace this past week. She had her heart set on making a certain team and didnt. Yes she was heartbroken but immediately wanted to go try again. For many of you that know Grace, know that if she wants to do something....she does. Even though as her mom, I felt that she wasnt ready for 10u yet and that another year of 8u would benefit her, she of course did not agree. She has played 8u since she was 4 and she is ready for a change. What makes me proud is that she is not afraid of trying and even though she struck out she wants to keep going. She tried out Thursday for the Eclipse and had wanted to tryout for Assault on Saturday, but Saturday chose to go to volleyball clinic :) We heard back from Eclipse that invited the girls back for a second and final tryout and will know Tuesday if she made the team. She has a great attitude and has said I can only go out and do my best...thats all I can do (Ill take attitude over talent anyday!) You have been thru so much Gracie Bennett that could have easily given you excuse to quit....but quitting is not in your blood!!!
