I have been quite dismayed and confused in meeting (to see brother yum author of the heavenly man) I have recently had the privilege of attending without going into too much detail I will say I do believe his experiences are real but his message is wrong much like the man from romania dumitru duduman who several similar experiences a question that I now have is why is it that some teach very specifically that I must ask for the baptism of the holy spirit when I already have received the holy spirit as a gift at conversion as some teach now if that is really what the Bible teaches would not asking for an extra baptism be tantamount to calling God the Bible Gods word and Jesus a liar that sounds like an awfully dangerous position to be in if someone thats smarter than me can answer this it would be very helpful./// Now some who call themselves Christians have taken to praying for “power” to come on them these days. This is not the prayer the Paul prayed. There is no place in the Bible where we are told to pray for power. Therefore this is a very dangerous prayer. We also should not summon the Holy Spirit to meetings because He is already present where two or three are gathered together (Mat 18:20). Summoning or invoking is sorcery. The Scriptures do show us what to pray for. Here are some examples:
