I have been reading a lot about aquascaping and while there is a lot of information out there on how to keep plants happy and shrimp happy in a beautifully aquascaped tank, I have found much of it to be confusing/conflicting for a beginner like me. I was wondering if some of you more established plant/shrimp keepers would be willing to share some of your knowledge on how you keep your plants and inverts happy together! Do you use root tabs, special soils, dose ferts, c02, all of the above? what types and how often? Any level of information would be helpful as I am hoping to not kill everything in the process of my experimenting. Many thanks ahead of time for any quick hints! p.s. I was planning to do a lower tech tank with less light and no c02 as that seems healthier for shrimp?
