I have been reading all the things that Paul went through in the New Testament, to get the TRUE GOSPEL out to the people. He went through a lot! He had to break the mindsets of Jews, who had been steeped in an Old Covenant law for 1500 years. He held nothing back!! He knew that it would eventually be profitable to the people that he was ministering to. This verse says that his own countrymen were lying in wait. Meaning they were going to try and remove the influence of his teaching. They wanted him dead. Paul cared more about the people, than he cared about what he was going to have to go through!! Acts 20:19-21 says, Serving the Lord with all humility of mind, and with many tears, and temptations, which befell me by the lying in wait of the Jews: And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publicly, and from house to house, Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ. Read the next few verses. Pauls secret, is he said, none of the things that he was going through moved him off the TRUTH that he was seeing from the LORD. WHY? Because he didnt count his own life dear to himself. Paul said i die daily. TO HIMSELF!! WOW!! That is how i have chosen to operate in my life. I want the TRUTH. Every part of the TRUTH. We dont have to be ignorant of spiritual things. We can grow and mature in our understanding. All truth will do is make us free!! Praise GOD!! I like the sound of that!! Have a great week!
