I have been reading that the DHS finds that persons endeavoring to live a more self sufficient lifestyle are potential domestic terrorists. I thought profiling was illegal. I suppose if you are muslem wearing a head wrap, or hispanic with Mexican flags on your car, or a black man in a hoodie, it is wrong to assume they are up to no good or illegal aliens or terrorists. BUT living on my own property exercising my heritage as rural Texan trying to be as INDEPENDENT as possible with a few animals, my own water well, a garden, and the weaponry to provide game, fowl, and repel any why would try to take any of what is mine or harm any living under my protection. And Suddenly I am a likely terrorist! Well I dont like the way the country is run. I am dubious about the likelihood of positive change when the people are so divided. And I will stand with other patriots who LOVE this country and the GOD-GIVEN FREEDOM it is supposed to represent to enforce those freedoms and protect the boundaries of this nation. I submit that if these characteristics make me a terrorist instead of a patriot, then our governments participants as a whole have a guilty conscience about their performance in the jobs they have been entrusted by the people with and they see folks with a streak of Independence as foe rather than the bedrock of this nation. Understanding that it is we who may seek to return the balance of power to the citizen. Patriot or Rebel is a matter of semantics. I believe myself to be a patriot. To those who know they are participating in a corrupt government that has exceeded the powers enumerated by the Constitution obviously I am a potential threat. What they dont seem to understand is I will never take up arms against this nation unless they take up arms against me, my family, my neighbors, or Texas as a whole. So what I am saying is as long as they dont start the fight then I will remain a patriot NOT a rebel. But I think this still worries them, because I like most patriots will NOT lie down and submit to tyranny.
