I have been reflecting on the grace of God in my life a lot - TopicsExpress

I have been reflecting on the grace of God in my life a lot lately. It’s funny how a lot of times I observe that when people reach a goal, they are so quick to lose touch with the fact that God is the one who allowed and help them get there. Then they say, “Well I was the one who worked hard for this.” Or that they did this or that, but the reality is who gave the wisdom to invent something? Or who gave you the strength and determination to lose 100 pounds? Or who allowed you to have favor in your bosses eyes so that you could get hired?!! God and God alone, if it had not been for His grace you would be no where!! It’s by His grace alone that we are even able to turn our lives around to come to Him! I thank God everyday and take some time to talk with Him and tell Him how much I love Him! It’s not about you saying you’re a Christian, it’s about relationship with Christ!!! God is showing me soo much about grace lately it’s bombarding my soul! I’m not perfect and I get angry when I see the way that a lot of local Pastors reject our ministry, or always act like we are below them. They act like the indifference towards my family is not noticeable but it is extremely obvious! Not to mention the bad things they say about us! God always reveals everything to us without us having to search or look for what is being said! God did not call us to run around in clicks and reject certain people that are not in the click!! When I see that it hurts and makes me want to ask God for justice, but then I remember, that when I was rebellious and hurt the Lord soo many times, He extended His love and grace to me!! Therefore I have the obligation and duty to do the same and ask the Lord to extend the same grace He did to me to them. That is not an easy prayer but the Bible says in Romans 12:17-21 Repay no one evil for evil, but give thought to do what is honorable in the sight of all. If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all. Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.” To the contrary, “if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink; for by so doing you will heap burning coals on his head.” Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. Learn to forgive and remember that one day you might have just acted like that person you can’t stand!!! GOD BREAKS CHAINS NOT PROMISES!! He will complete the work He started in YOU!!!!!!
