I have been riding my 2015 Motobecane Lurch for the past month so I thought I would give a quick update. Weight: 34 lbs. (approximate) Terrain ridden: Grass, beaches, hills, rocky hills, single track, etc. Air Pressure Tested: 18lbs, 12lbs, 9lbs and 7.5lbs. (Recommended was 8 lbs - 18 lbs) Notes: Overall opinion of the 2015 Motobecane Lurch is that its awesome for the price. I do wish I had hydraulic brake when flying downhill though. Out of the box I found that the front and rear derailuer had to be adjusted slightly but nothing dramatic. Oh yeah, the bike doesnt come with pedals with pedals either. I dont ride on pavement often so I found that 7-8 lbs of air worked best for all off-road terrain. It seems to give the best grip on steep hill climbs and the most cushion over rocks or going downhill. I will be using this Fatty on upcoming expedition/bikepacking trips in San Diego County for @1020outfitters. We are just in the planning stages of just planning right now and have absolutely no idea what we are doing ;-) but as long as we are out and about well be happy.
