I have been running from my personal Nineveh for a year. It didnt work out well for Jonah, Im not sure why I thought it would work for me... Recently I confessed that to The Lord, repented and now I am anxious to be under His yoke- working along side Jesus and a faith family as we obediently live out His call. Its scary. Its overwhelming. Its humbling. Its exciting. But He reminds me His yoke is easy and I trust Him. may he equip you with all you need for doing his will. May he produce in you, through the power of Jesus Christ, every good thing that is pleasing to him. All glory to him forever and ever! Amen. (Hebrews 13:21 NLT) What is it that you are running from? What has God called you to? Maybe its uncomfortable, maybe you dont know where to begin, maybe youre like me and scared of the skeletons that could fall out. I know what obedience should look like and I know the One who calls & equips. We should find so much joy and comfort in His words: Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20 NLT)
