I have been selected as one of the 5 speakers to represent raising awareness of the problems in services/support for PND. Tomorrow I will go to a secret location with 4 others to take part in practice preparation for the official meeting with the board of directors who deal with the Services in the east of England. I hope this will bring much needed change, and more support to families who need it, for those suffering pre/post natal depression and the mental health issues surrounding this illness. To be able to be heard and to know those who can change the structure of how its handled will hear the impact it can have on a persons life, is both uplifting and hopeful. I will speak with honesty and I hope to make a change for the better together with the voices of 4 others. Wish me luck! Kate xx
