I have been sitting here trying to personally contact you all to see if you would have interest in joining Farm Bureau. That will take me forever so Please consider joining Farm Bureau! I know, what will it do for me? Where do I save my money I pay for membership? Well I can tell you if you show up to this event we can answer that the benefit will far out exceed that. If you havent been watching there is a lot of things going on right now that scare me or concern me! The EPA is trying to mess up the Renewable Fuels Standard, cheerios has went to all non GMO ingredients, and now the groups pushing for it are onto the next cereal (there is no proven, unbiased scientific information that says GMOs are unsafe), some state are also trying to out law them or require labeling if food contain GMOs, Chipotle is getting ready to release a new mini series with their twisted view of food production (they show farmers giving cows pills filled with oil and the cows explode), farmers still do not have a #Farmbill that provides a safety net to the less than 1% of people that produce our food in this country, we are having water issues around the country, Ohio Senate Bill 150 that will require licensing to apply fertilizer is moving on to the House, these are just a few of the things going on right now. Your membership to the Ohio Farm Bureau as well as an of the commodity and livestock groups is more critical right now that ever before. Please consider joining! Together we can make things better!
