I have been so busy after getting home, that I havent been on Facebook much. We are so glad to be home! Joe is doing okay for what he has been through. He was a very sick man, so it will take time for him to recover. He is still walking with a walker because the disease caused him to lose his muscle mass. He will get it back, but it will take time. He is having some problems with the medications, but hopefully in time, those problems will go away. He is not driving yet, but hopefully in a couple of weeks. He will have to go to Holston Valley to have labs several times a week. I will be staying home with him for two more weeks, but will probably go back to work after that. These are just minor considering what he has been through. We are just so grateful that he has been given this second chance at life. Thanks again to everyone who has been supporting us with prayer and have also had Joe on their prayer chain at church! You will never know how much it has meant. Please continue to remember him as he progresses and pray that he his body will still not reject his new liver.
