I have been speculating the outburst of social media outrage as the children of Palestine are victims for genocide. Lets be clear that the tension has not been going on for a decade or two it goes beyond that. In the academic world, the discipline of International Political Economy IPE is starting to make for sense the relationship between states. As a grad student specializing in IPE I have done research on Iraq in IPE, we bomb Iraq not because of selling oil contract only but to also free up trade zone. I know, the average people immediately displays the rhetoric is exploiting natural resources. So, forcing regime change in Iraq was conceived as a means to open a new market that could produce income for American companies. Not just oil, but water, roads, schools, hospitals, private jails, anything that can be turned into a commodity and sold. Do you really want to know what really happened to Iraq that made the economy and government collapse? The Director of Reconstruction, Paul Bremer passed a set of policies that literally usually take three decades to get passed. Iraqs economy was protected, somewhat. In Iraqs constitution it very clearly says that there are sectors of the economy that are considered essential services and not open to privatization. Not just oil, but water and so on. And it also says that Iraqi businesses cannot be foreign-owned -- very clear rules embedded in Iraqs constitution. Do you know what this dummy Bremer did next? Bremer overturned Iraqs constitution. It allowed 100 percent foreign ownership of Iraqi businesses and it put 200 Iraqi state companies up for privatization, up for sale. And it also said that companies coming into Iraq can take 100 percent of their profits out of the country. It also gave them a massive tax break. THIS IS WHATS CALLED SHOCK THERAPY! It creates a humanitarian disaster with starvation, creation of terrorist organization, and etc. This is exactly what happens every country where there is US interest. Good night!
