I have been spotted, and subsequently called out by the honorable Dr Nathan Gilmore, to alert any potential interested parties meandering through the Facebook vacuum of ten books that have changed my life so far. (Enter Smirnoff, the comedian: In Soviet Russia, you change the books life.) Ok, here goes, in no particular order: 1. The Psalms (by King David, Moses and a few others). 2. Pippi Longstocking by Astrid Lindgren. 3. Perelandra by C S Lewis. 4. Brothers Karamazov by Fyodor Dostoevsky. 5. Great Expectations by Charles Dickens. 6. Winnetou by Karl May. 7. The Black Obelisk by Erich Maria Remarque. 8. Lost in the Cosmos by Walker Percy. 9. David Copperfield by Charles Dickens. 10. A Handful of Dust by Evelyn Waugh. 10b. The Consolation of Philosophy by Boethius. 10c. The Return of the Native by Thomas Hardy. 10d. Transformed for Life by Derek Prince. 10e. Shadow Song by Terry Kay. 10f. Ideas Have Consequences by Richard Weaver. 10g. The Problem of Pain by C S Lewis. 10h. The Glass Bees by Ernst Junger. 10i. The Alice books by Lewis Carroll. 10j. Patilans Kingdom by Ran 10k. A Separate Peace by John Knowles. Limiting it to ten is like recalling your one favorite thing about being alive. Its preposterous. So you see Ive been somewhat of a cheeky counter culture non-conformist and used government officials math skills in counting to ten. Pardon the liberty.
