I have been stronger through this then I thought I would be. It hits hard when you actually see the obituary. Not writing it so much, but actually seeing it. It helps that I know he is in a glorious place now with no more pain in his body or in his heart/soul. I now know also that he was proud of me, and my family, and would be proud of what I am doing now for him. He was a good man that didnt mean to hurt anybody. We all make mistakes and bad choices. He acknowledged his. It is very difficult to see your own father cry. We were able to spend time together. We talked and learned a lot about each other and it meant the world to both of us. I know God opened the door for that to happen. I honestly thought I was never going to have anything special between him and I. I was wrong! We had it!! Thank God we really had it!!
