Follow these steps to ensure the very best results. Before Tanning Session Checklist: ◾Fresh shower ◾Exfoliate your skin (don’t’use exfoliation scrubs that may contain oils) pay particular attention to elbows, ankles, keens and top of hands and feet. ◾Refrain from eyelash tinting 12 hrs before as it may react with the solution ◾No deodorant or perfume ◾No lotions or moisturizers ◾No make-up or Jewlery ◾It is best to shave/wax at least 8 hours before tanning! ◾Manicures, pedicures and/or facials are best done 24hrs prior to your tanning session ◾Wear an old bathing suit or old dark under garments. ◾Wear dark loose clothes (no jeans) and flip flops. ◾Long hair needs to be tied up. ◾Cash or local check accepted for payment. Please have exact change! After Tanning Session Care: ◾Wear dark, loose fitting attire after your appointment. Any minor rub-off will easily wash out of most fabrics, but some lighter colored materials, including leather, may stain. Sit on a towel or cloth instead. ◾Wait at least 8-12 hrs to warm water rinse after your tanning session. Waiting the recommended time will allow enought time for the chemical reaction to take place…the longer you wait the better. When showering don’t be concerned if some of the initial bronzer washes off – this is part of our tanning solution process, and your skin will continue to tan. ◾Apply a moisturizer or hydrating lotion twice every day in the morning and evening after the shower. This will hydrate your skin prolonging the life of your tan by reducing the rate at which your skin exfoliates thus, keeping your tan looking better much longer and it will help it to fade evenly as well. ◾Another consideration to keep your tan looking radiant is to avoid taking long baths, hot spas and/or extended swimming sessions. Shorter sessions are preferable. Also avoid products designed to exfoliate your skin. This can accelerate exfoliation and fade your tan. It’s best to bathe or swim prior to your pre-tan exfoliation and tanning session. ◾We will ensure that your application is dry before you leave, but as a precaution, do not wet your skin for at least 5 hours after the tanning session. We also recommend that you do not exercise or perspire excessively between your spray tanning and the showering phase. ◾Don’t use any products containing Alpha Hydroxy Acids as their purpose is the increase exfoliation. Know that their use will accelerate the fading process of your tan. Sunscreen: Tanning solutions do not provide any sun protection. Please remember to apply an SPF 30 sunscreen to prevent sunburn when outdoors. Save your Skin!
