I have been thinking a lot today about victims. I think a lot of us have been victims at some time or other in our lives. Some people internalize it more than others and would then continue to live as a victim rather than the survivor of an injustice. They would gravitate toward and have empathy toward other victims. Rather than value human rights and life knowing that there are bad apples out there, they mistrust many and devalue those that they feel are victimizing others. Those that they feel are repressing minority groups or weak individuals. I think they defend the weak against the strong as a mannor of defending their victimized self. This is a commendable gesture IF you truely defending the weak. But I think the defensive victim can be so focusing emotionally on defense, that they can be manipulated to fight on the wrong side. IMO, that wrong side is the side of the democrat. On the surface, the democrat appears to be more emotional and sympathetic towards the minority and creates programs to help the needy and laws to protect victims of society. But I feel that in doing so, they create a victim mentality and actually create more hurt and dependancy. They fan the flames of emotion by pointing out hate instead of focusing on those that do not hate. I WAS a victim, I choose to be a survivor (though it is something I struggle with daily), I choose to be positive and see the good in people. I know that people who want to hurt others are victims of their own self loathing. I want to help people learn to fish, not eat for a day. I love my constitional republic nation and am blessed to have been born here. I do not want progressive socialists to change this great nation. I am a conservative and I am strong! God bless America and her people!
