I have been thinking about some ideas that would truly change the world. I believe that six most important innovations that would drastically move humanity to an amazing future would be: 1: self sustaining space travel/ colonization (really where are we going to put 9 billion plus people on earth- a reasonable expectation of world population in my lifetime) 2: small nuclear reactors for powering trains plains automobiles and my house (a nuclear solution is the best method for producing electricity nuclear decay, fission fusion take your pic) 3: An ever expanding library for phage therapy (antibiotics are losing their effectiveness. with faster genetic sequencing technology phage therapy is primed to take their place) 4: 3D printing food (it starts with chocolate, it ends with a slab of meat on the table and maybe a new heart for your body while they are at it) 5: Improving battery technology. (If only we could all have a little piece of plutonium we would never have to charge our cell phones. radioactive decay powers voyager beyond the edge of our solar system and curiosity on mars. I want it to be used more widely here on earth or a reasonable substitute) 6: Artificial intelligence ( it is already here we just dont realize the impact that autonomous machines control our everyday lives. I tend to think this is going to be an improvement, people are really not too smart. Well here is to the future! Enjoy
