I have been thinking about this,...Regarding the millions of illegal aliens either currently in and now flowing into our nation,....you seem to be functioning and living well and apparently have been integrated into our nation to enjoy,as an illegal, a higher standard of living than you did in your home nation. If you as an illegal alien can be here illegally and still enjoy the benefits of our nation and her freedom, can enjoy protection of the law here,....can get employment either above board, or even under the table so to speak, can access free health care and welfare support, free food, low cost or free housing, can get a drivers license, can access free education for your children, can access free educational services for yourself, can get a free phone, not have to learn English, as necessary, can have the government basically support you and provide for your needs, .....have no binding legal allegiance or obligations to our nation,...be free to leave and return to your home at any time and then return again to the United States, at your will and whim, with no passport required, or without you, DAILY, having to put up with all the burdensome, at times even oppressive rules and regulations all other American citizens have to endure that actually protect, provide, and pay for all that you enjoy here,....and Maybe you even vote illegally as lax as voter ID laws are in some states,....With ALL this, why would you WANT to be an American citizen? Why would you want to be registered, identified, and be a part of our national data-base identity for pretty much EVERYTHING,....who is tracked and monitored and taxed by the IRS,.....is possibly subject to military conscription in case of a national military emergency,....and as an American citizen,...may in fact enjoy LESS freedom at a greater price than you do as an illegal? Common sense tells me that Democrats wants you as voters and BOTH parties want you paying income taxes,.....but,....Can you list for me please any other BENEFIT I am missing of you securing American citizenship, beyond becoming legal, and beyond the pride that I assume you will have in being a United States citizen? Just curious......
