I have been thinking all day of the right words to say to express my gratitude for all that we are blessed to have in this great nation. As one friend put it, today is not a date, as much as at Christmas, we do not wish each other a Merry 25th. Today is Independence Day. It is a day that generations have fought and oft times, died for. Today is about our freedom as a nation and as a people who inhabit the greatest nation on earth. We owe a debt of gratitude to all who have served this nation. Many of you here who are my friends have served, as do my Daughter and her Husband. To each of you, I say from the bottom of my heart...Thank you for allowing us to celebrate this day. We are One Nation, Under GOD, Indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for all. God Bless you all and HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!!!
