I have been training with Brooke for around 5 months now. Our goal was to focus within and get to a point where I no longer felt dependent on the scale or tracking food. I have gone back and forth over the past 5 months. One week I would feel comfortable not tracking and then I would have a hard time and feel I needed to know every macro I was consuming. Something just clicked this past week. I haven’t tracked food for over a month now, and I finally feel 100% comfortable not tracking. I stepped on the scale today because I’ve had a handful of people in the last week tell me they can see a difference…and I am the lowest I’ve been since I started training with Brooke. Honestly I think my body finally senses I am at peace with myself. It’s like as soon as I quit obsessing and worrying my body relaxed and decided to respond. I eat when I am hungry and stop when satisfied. I eat what my body feels it needs, not what I feel is optimal for certain results. I train for enjoyment and no longer base workouts on what I think I need to do to acquire a certain look. I honestly cannot remember the last time I’ve felt like this. I have put so much pressure and extra stress on myself for years. I’ve had periods I could account for every gram of food that entered my body and every second I trained. It’s time for me to live…and that is exactly what I’ve been doing! #beFit #iamenough #morethanashell
