I have been trying to help a friend obtain treatment for cancer. His medical insurance is not accepted by those doctors in our town that treat cancer. So, instead of obtaining treatment, he is meeting with hospice tonight to learn what he needs to do to get his affairs in order to die. It frustrates me that we live in America and this is happening. All this money raised by Relay for Life, Fight for Life, Tiger Fight and Camp Out for Cancer goes where? To research? Maybe some of that local money could pay for some local help. This young man is leaving behind a beautiful wife and kids just because he doesnt have coverage.
