I have been using vodafone from back when it was hutch. Never really had much of a complaint. But this time vodafone has failed miserably. i get a message twice (Sep 9, 17:41 & Sep 10, 19:55) saying recharge with 57 and get 500 mb 3g data for 7 days, offer till 15 Sep. I dial *121# the offer was there too. I recharged with 57 on Sep 12, 12:02. I get a message saying talktime received Rs.1.73. A second message saying your data pack will be active in 30 mins. Nothing is activated and Vodafone starts deducting my balance for data usage. Next day I call to raise a complaint and the guy tells me that you received balance actually and from now on, everytime you get a message call customer care and confirm whether that offer will be activated or not and then do a recharge, which is by all means preposterous. I force him to lodge a complaint and give me a complaint no. He tells me you will get a callback to resolve the issue by monday. Just now I receive a message saying your complaint has been addressed. I fail to understand how that happened. Summary: 1. Wrong offer message 2. Wrong offer message again 3. Wrong recharge information 4. Wrong message saying data pack will be activated 5. Customer Care executive putting all the blame on me, and giving ludicrous suggestions 6. Complaint closed without any redressal. Any lawyers please let me know if I can go to consumer forum for this. Vodafone India disappointing stuff.
