I have been very blessed to receive the broad support of working men and women around Kentucky during this campaign. When I examine these endorsements I see the thousands of dedicated and skilled trades men and women who work every day to insure excellence in their craft and products. I see people willing to stand up for fairness in pay, safety in the workplace, and considerations for families during illness and childbirth. Everyone in America has enjoyed the fruits of the struggles of these men and women through implementation of fair labor practices and laws. I posted my endorsement by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 639 and the United Food & Commercial Workers Local 227. I have also been endorsed by the Kentucky State UAW Community Action Program (CAP) Council; Teamsters Locals 89 and 783; Kentucky State Building and Construction Workers Council; Kentucky Laborers District Council; Indiana/Kentucky/Ohio Regional Council of Carpenters; Boilermakers Local Lodge 40; and the AFL-CIO.
