I have been very critical of the Obama Administrations failure to take limited military action against the Assad Regime. It should be remembered, although, that the failure to in force his red line in Syria resulted from the failure of Congress to back him which, in fairness, was based in poling that made it very clear that the majority of Americans were very opposed to taking any military action. Its more than a little hypocritical of the Republicans to criticize the President for not following through on an action that they would not support. Its like the jobs issue. The Republicans complain that there are far too few after doing all they can to curtail their creation. Crying for tax cuts that amount to a further subsidization of Wall Street dont count. Their cost is at the expense of the rest of society, Free trade zones that are nothing more than a means of keeping the working poor as poor as possible dont count. Deregulation that furthers the creation of toxic disasters like those in West Virginia dont count.
