I have been walking around the yard today and admiring and enjoying the beautiful trees. I have about ten Dogwood trees that are about twenty years of age. When we had them planted about half were pink; however, over the years they are now white. We have beautiful Cherry Trees, some Japanese Cherry and others Weeping Cherry, and the umbrella trees are turning as well. I love the umbrella trees all the time, but the one problem with them is that they do indeed serve as an umbrella and it takes a thorough soaking rain to get the ground wet. They do turn a beautiful rust and yellow. .
