I have been wandering in an addiction for nearly 33 years. On 20 May 2014 it brought me to a similar point in my life as this man. My selfishness has cost me everything I have in my life and I have hurt many in my selfish pursuit to feed my addiction. On that day I found myself on my brought to my knees, begging for forgiveness. I have been clean free from my addiction now for 73 days. I have been able to feel Gods merciful hand in my life. I have a long road to bare as I return home, but I know that Im on my way. I dont know what experiences I will have along this road, but I know that it is Gods will for me, and that it is the road that I, Gods prodigal son, must travel to return to the open arms of our Heavenly Father. I rejoice in the fact that Jesus Christ is my savior and that through his atoning sacrifice I will return home.
