I have been wanting to join CRC for a year now after reading The Balanced Horse a few times. My place is in Colorado (USA), elevation 7500ft, on a dirt road pretty far from just about everything....most of the traffic is cows! My little town is so small even the bank is on a dirt road! Soooo, I went to the bank yesterday to exchange dollars to GBP so I could mail my check and FINALLY get to that CRC library!!!! Well my banker looked at me like I was nuts and told me no, they couldnt do that. In fact none of the banks close by could do that. So I went to the post office (so I would be at least ready to mail the GBP) with my envelope addressed to Roxburghshire, and they didnt know that was Scotland!!!? After an hour of driving to a bigger bank I was in fact able to exchange $ for a check, but must wait 10 days for it and pay 20 pounds for the service! LOL!!! I am not complaining here....I just thought it was funny and hope you folks that live near these great clinics appreciate it!!!
