I have been working on Cayenne peppers nonstop for the last couple days. I have fresh Cayenne, Chopped and frozen Cayenne, Minced and frozen. I also have learned to make the hot pepper paste my husband loves so much from the store. I have trouble with preservatives so most of that stuff gets to my stomach and it is a little vinegary. So I decided to make my own out of these tasty cayenne peppers. It is the best stuff you have ever tasted we have had this paste on every meal including breakfast. It is so good we find ourselves craving it. I was using it as a dip yesterday. This is all it is, cayenne peppers fresh a touch of pomegranate vinegar and some salt. Grind that up into a paste and freeze the leftovers. I freeze them flat so I can just break off pieces and defrost as needed. I have a great Spicy Stir Fry and this would be great in it. I will try it this week and let you know how it tastes. Play around with your peppers. I have a ton dried and now a bunch frozen.
