I have been working on planning projects for After School Art Day . . . one for k-3, 4-6, 7-8, 9-12 . . . one day for each of the groups . . . here is the thing though . . . I have room for 12 students at a each . . . I dont have to have 12 to run a program, but I do need to have some committed students so that I can purchase supplies . . . Id want to keep the prices down, and I want to pay rent and pay the heat, and I could do that if I am not buying unused supplies :D :D . . . So I will do monthly signups . . . you can sign up for more than one of course! . . . so how about 4 weeks for $50 per student . . . 4 pm - 6pm . . . thats two hours a week for 4 weeks . . . only $12.50 a week . . . I do already have some reusable supplies, but will need consumables too . . . paint, markers, paper, clay, etc . . . if I find that it doesnt support the program at that price, then it may need to be raised . . . or only in the older groups where the supplies get a bit more expensive . . . If I could get at the very least 6 students per month or 4 weeks however you want to look at it I think it can happen . . . pre-planning is needed, hence why the feelers are out to see the interest! . . . I am open to comments, suggestions, donations, volunteers, help in any shape or form! . . . I want to get the studio rocking and rolling for the community . . . I like you all to think of it as a creative, welcoming, safe place for you to send your children to AND for you to utilize as well!!!
