I have bitterly complained about the monkey menace and the stray - TopicsExpress

I have bitterly complained about the monkey menace and the stray dog menace in Mayur Vihar Phase II where I live in Delhi, not once but many times on this page. But look at what happened this morning. I was walking to the auto stand to look for an auto to take me to office this morning at 9. A big dark blue car came from behind, grazed my right side rather forcefully, lifting my hand up with its side mirror and throwing it back down and then the side hitting my hip and leg. An older person might have fallen down and come under the wheels of the car or the one following it. Perhaps I am not old enough for that, or perhaps the good god was smiling down at me, I continued to walk without falling. The strange thing is that I did not feel very angry at all, nor did I attempt to do anything, not even try to make out the make or number of the car. The driver was a young man who never even bothered to look back. This, in a inner colony service road. I hope to identify the car, trace the owner and click his picture and that of his car and also mention my standing in society as well as his, very soon. It was a big dark blue car and if such brutes are not provided company by monkeys and stray dogs, then who will? No wonder we do not have peacocks and deers in Mayur Vihar Phase 2, I therefore apologise to all the monkeys and dogs I talked about earlier. They are welcome here. They are far better than the young fatcats who drive cars here. In fact I invite some snakes too.
