I have bought two CDs in the last fifteen years, two copies of Trace Adkins Proud to Be Here one for my car and one for my truck. They never leave the CD player. Song number 5 is the only song on the CD that gets any significant amount of play, usually when Paige and I are headed somewhere. Paige is 20+/- years away from getting married, but if that is not the Father/Daughter dance I will be SHOCKED. A friend of mine recently announced that he is having a little boy. Several people have commented that now you will have another hunting buddy..... That is an obvious response, but I assure you, if they were having a girl, he would have another hunting buddy as well. Dads dont forget to take your daughters hunting and fishing as well. Let them fall in love with the outdoors and share the passion with you. Dont assume that because you had a girl you arent going to have another hunting buddy. Turn her in to an outdoorswoman and her odds of falling in love with a man with the same values and principals that you have instilled in her are much higher. In the mean time you will have so many memories that are irreplaceable, whether you were Just Fishin Just Huntin or just hangin out in the woods.....
