I have broken 3 blue springs and 2 yellows in the past year. Most of these springs were the hq ones. I got fed up getting stranded at rallies so I designed these springs for the minarelli V1. They are made in the USA in the Philadelphia area. These springs are twice as stiff as stock yet not quite as stiff as the blue. I did this because I wanted a good balance between longevity and performance. If all goes well I will also make 3x stiffer than sock in the future. I used stainless AK Steel 17-7 PH which provides high strength and hardness, excellent fatigue properties, good corrosion resistance, good formability, and minimum distortion upon heat treatment. This alloy provides valuable property combinations particularly well suited for aerospace applications. This special alloy also provides benefits for other applications requiring high strength and good corrosion resistance, as well as excellent properties for flat springs at temperatures up to 600°F (310°C). I sent out 10 prototype sets last week to see how they work, aside from myself no one has had the opportunity to install them. I have no real feedback about how well they work, or how long they last. It would take a year or two to gather this info but who wants to wait that long or bust blue springs while we wait? Theoretically this should last much longer than the blue springs and should perform better than stock. They are made in the USA with high quality expensive steal. Because of the lack of info I am able to provide due to the youth of this product I can offer a 30 day return policy of a full refund. Also I will replace any broken springs with a 1 year guarantee as long as they are used in a minarelli stock clutch with stock weighted shoes. These springs should also work with some morini clutches, the hammer, and the qt40. Also may fit derbi & hobbit???
