I have came to realise that The use of EVMs in Namibia havent and will not benefit any voter as an individual but only political parties because no vote will be discarded or lost and its efficiency. There is no major difference from the traditional voting method, We still have to wake up, drive, walk or take cab to polling stations and stand in long queus for some time. come 2019 90% of the Namibian people will own smartphones or atleast most of the people if not all will have access to internet. So With the little understanding I have in Information technology I propose the use of Electronic voting Apps. A simple application that will be installed on cellphones and other devices and allow u to vote wherever u are. IMAGINE THE POSSIBILITY OF VOTING WHILE HAVING A CUP OF COFFEE IN YOUR BACKYARD
