I have chickens. I have happy chickens that live in a cage. My chickens love their cage. They get food, water and shelter provided for them. They are content. In fact, when we move their cage (which we do daily) and one accidentally gets out, she will circle the cage to try to figure how to get back in. All I ask in return for their accommodations is their every product(brush clearing, eggs and compost) and eventually, their lives and their bodies to provide the means for my luxury and culinary creativity. As a hobby farmer, it would be wasteful for me to tax their efforts any less than 100%. Would it be wrong to do this to people if they didnt notice?
