I have come to realize why I love the music I grew up, now - TopicsExpress

I have come to realize why I love the music I grew up, now classified as old-school,...its because the timeless lyrics were thought-provoking when I heard them and full of wisdom which is still relevant. Example: What A Fool Believes - Doobie Brothers (1978) The main chorus says, But what a fool believes he sees No wise man has the power to reason away What seems to be Is always better than nothing And nothing at all keeps sending him... After a recent exchange with a few fools who sincerely believe their perception of a situation is the way they see it,...the Doobie Brothers lyrics popped into my head (as many a song does in a given situation but usually I hum it to myself), and I realize that no wise man has the power to reason away the foolish thinking of a fool. And so, I have learned to follow the wisdom of the Holy Quran in handling such folk, of which in the HQ it states that Allah (God) leaves them blindly wandering on in their inordinacy. So wander on, oh fools, what seems to be is always better than nothing, and nothing at all keeps sending you blindly wandering on in your inordinacy. Happy trails!! And to all the fools I dedicate this classic to you... youtu.be/dJe1iUuAW4M
