I have come to the conclusion that maybe I am old... well maybe not old, just more wise. I have always wanted wisdom and I think the Lord is giving me that gift. Now if I could get back into that size 9,,, or 14.... or 16... I also have come to the conclusion that I really am tired of people tearing each other down. Tired of gossip. It says in the Bible that gossip separates friends; It does. I really am to the point of if it doesnt build people up and glorify the Lord, then I really dont want to hear it. In fact Im tired of hearing stuff. I want to hear happy things, praise reports ,not damage reports. I want to hear how people have been blessed today, and not the latest on so and so... You know, I used to be one of those people that had to know, and dont get me wrong, I am still a little bit nosy, however, I am finding that I am not as nosy. I used to buy all the trash magazines like the National Enquirer and Star, now I just look at them in the grocery store and just shake my head. Who cares. We only are given so many days on this planet, dont we want to make them count? I guess what Im trying to say is be careful with your words, bless somebody today, and most importantly, love one another. Isnt that what the Lord commanded us to do? just sayin....
