I have come to the following conclusions: Far too many of us women give our loyalty, respect, fidelity, love, our hearts and our time to people who havent even bothered to earn any of it. Dont fall in love with potential. They have to be making an effort, a serious effort, to achieve their dreams. Their own dreams not the ones they tell you they want because they think it is what you want for them. Get to know them. If they arent taking care of themselves and handling their lives, obligations, and (most importantly) their children then I can assure you they WONT take care of you or your relationship. My mom always said you cant expect to be treated any better than the way a male treats his mom, sister or daughter. Youre job IS NOT to raise your man. Dont treat him like your child if you want him to be a man and never, under any circumstances allow him to disrespect you or make you sacrifice your dignity.
