I have concluded my business trip to New Zealand this morning, and now I am in Australia next 10 days. I spent time around Wellington, Christchurch, and Gisborne over the last 5 business days, and met key stakeholders who are likely to positively contribute to Cigniti make its presence felt in this new territory. It’s been 12 years since I have returned to India, and begun working in Hyderabad. Over these 12 years, I had a chance to work with over 3500 testing professionals directly or indirectly. Thanks to this, there is always someone I know or someone who knows me, anywhere I travel around the world. I was happy to find few contacts in this region too, who helped my stay go easy, despite my adventurous entry into NZ with missing luggage. I have captured tiny glimpses around the cities that I travelled, from over the air, in the cable car, on the ferry, in a taxi, on the hill, etc., and stitched them on a 4-minute clip, on my flight to Melbourne. Coincidentally I have stopped at shore in Gisborne on Oct 10th, where Captain Cook sighted NZ for the first time precisely on the same day in 1769, which marked the beginning of NZ nation, and completion of the world map. It was an interesting experience traveling on BEACH 1600D flight by Air New Zealand at 20K feet, with great views of mountain ranges of NZ between Gisborne & Wellington.
