I have contemplated whether or not to make this post, but Ive come to the conclusion that I should warn everyone about destiny fitness. I purchased a one year gym and tanning membership last march. In the beginning I was very pleased with the gym and still have no complaints about the gym side. Tanning is another story. They have 1 standup bed and 3 15 min beds. I noticed only one of the 15 min beds had all three facial bulbs working so I just always tanned in that bed. Well a few weeks later none of the facial bulbs worked in any of the bed. I come in the evenings when the staff has already left for the day so I left a note letting them know about the bulbs not working. Weeks go by and they still werent fixed so I called and spoke to the manager. She informed me that she has tried and tried to order the bulbs for the beds and she cant get them because they are a special kind of bulb. I let her know I didnt think it was acceptable that I pay every month and not getting the full services. She told me to lay the opposite way with my feet under the facial bulbs. I did not think that that would help any and asked for her manager or the owner of the store. She said she would give him my info and have him call me. I still havent heard from anyone. About a month ago I noticed that one of the 15 min beds had all facial bulbs and was so excited that they had finally fixed the problem....until I realized they only fixed one out of the three beds. Of coarse no one wanted to go to the broken ones so I had to wait a few times for this bed. I tried the stand up bed but it has had the same 3 bulbs missing for the last 3 months. Like I said I have had no complaints about the gym part but if you want gym and tanning this is not the gym for you and I am now stuck in a one year contract.
