I have decided not to support Dan Coffey for Anchorage Mayor in 2015. I want a mayor that listens to people not special interest. We need a mayor like Paul Jr Bauer who listens to the people not special interest. Dan Coffey wants Mayor Dan Sullivan not to veto the repeal or the Johnson version of Ordinance 37. If the author does not support it should be vetoed. Prediction is Anchorage Ordinance 37 would have been upheld due to US Senate election. He also does not support free enterprise in the taxi cab permit system. He does not want to improve the ability of a person to get a taxi. He does not want a person to get a taxicab permit at a reasonable price of $1800 which the people asked for. He also listen to ATPOA which believes taxis should perform low quality of service. You add permits make the taxi market free market will improve the quality of service. This has worked well in Spokane for 32 years will work in Alaska as well.
